SCS Training Policy

Class pre-registration is required for all SCS training classes.

Registration is free to Lab Pass Holders, but if you don't show up and fail to cancel, you will be charged $5.00. If you need to cancel, please send an email to training@scs.wsu.edu, before the class is scheduled to take place, stating that you need to cancel your sign-up for that specific class. Please make sure to list which class you are canceling.

Students and WSU faculty without a SCS Lab Pass will be charged $20.00 per course.

If you register for Introduction to the Internet, Intro to HTML 1, 2 or 3, or Linux/UNIX 1 and 2, you must have an active WSUNIX account. This is different than the SCS Lab Pass.

If you need to obtain a UNIX account, WSU Students may click this link to setup their account over the Internet. You may also contact the SCS Help Desk at 335-HELP to set up an account.

Note: SCS Training reserves the right to change the class time, date, location, or cancel class. Attempts will be made to contact those who have signed up through personal contact and a note will be posted on the door to the Thompson Computer Lab. You may only sign-up for a class until 5pm the night before. If you would like to attend but are unable to sign-up before the dead line send an email to training@scs.wsu.edu including your name, contact info, and which class you wish to attend or call (509)335-0107.
