Details About SCS Training


SCS Training offers classes in a broad range of topics, from Microsoft Office, to Macromedia Web Design, and Adobe Graphic Design to computer hardware, UNIX, and HTML. Many of our classes are also broken down into introductory and advanced skill levels.

We offer Personal Training Classes for your convenience. Our Personal Training will allow you to schedule an appointment to help you and a few of your friends learn at your own pace.

SCS Training Classes are free to Residential and Full Access Lab customers. The cost for all other customers is $20.00/class. If you are interested in signing up for a class, go to the Training Class Sign-up page, or if you would like more information, you can send an e-mail to training@scs.wsu.edu.

How to Register


Place

CUE Lab for Pinnacle, iMovie, Final Cut, Premiere, or other video editing classes.
Thompson Lab for all other classes.

Registration

You may register on-line to sign-up for a training class. Please have your Faculty/Staff/Student ID#, the class name and date, and form of payment info (Student account, IRI, or free to Residence Hall residents or with SCS Semester Account) ready.

Cost

Free to Residence Hall residents or SCS Semester Lab Pass holders and $20.00 for all Hourly Account holders and the general public. To cancel please send an email to training@scs.wsu.edu, before the class is scheduled to take place, stating that you need to cancel your sign-up for that specific class. Please make sure to list which class you are canceling.
There is a $5.00 no-show fee if you don't show to a class you enrolled for.

Payment

If you wish to pay by IRI, you may do so at the beginning of the class. If you wish to pay by Student Account, your account will automatically be charged once you have attended the training class.
