Helpdesk Phones


The Helpdesk is designed to provide quick network trouble shooting and support. We provide services like setting up e-mail accounts and web server space, registering computers to access ResNet, and fixing network connectivity problems. We are also located in the IT building in room 2071 however the best way to get in contact with us is by calling 5-HELP (509-335-4357). We are available to take calls Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Here are some reasons to call the Helpdesk:
  • You need to certify a new computer
  • You suspect your computer has a virus
  • You’re network access has been shut off
  • You are experiencing network disruption
  • You have forgotten your Network ID Password
  • You have questions about WSU’s Network policy
These are computer questions we are not set-up to anwser:
  • You need help installing non-network hardware (Printers, Monitors, etc...)
  • You want help setting up a hub or router in your Residence Hall room
  • Your computer crashes frequently, except in the case of viruses
  • Or other non-network related issues
