Network Support

SCS provides several support options to students who are having network related computer problems. Those options include the Helpdesk and Network Support Services. The Helpdesk takes care of over the phone support, basic configurations issues, and network certification. Network Support Services handles hardware installations, virus scanning and repair, and Windows reinstallations.

Supported Hardware

At WSU, we maintain Minimum Supported Hardware specifications for any machine on the network. We allow use of non-supported hardware, but we will not be able to resolve any issues with the network or other computer resources if your hardware does not meet these specifications.

Please keep in mind: These specifications are merely minimum supported specifications for machines at WSU. Please follow the minimum requirements for all software you use and the operating system of your choice.
