Console Device Registration
Purpose
In order to use a video game console (Microsoft XBox, XBox 360, Sony Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Nintendo Gamecube, or Wii) or DVR Devices
on WSU's ResNet, you must register the console's MAC address. WSU does not support older modem-based consoles.
SCS provides a
tutorial for connecting a console
through
Cisco NAC (Clean Access), which includes instructions for determining your console's MAC address (or MAC address.)
