Student Instructor Media Partnership Advancing Technology Innovations through Collaboration

Connect Project Phase II

This coming fall semester will mark the beginning of Phase II of the WSU Connect Project providing WSU students access to WSU's campus-wide Microsoft Exchange service. This exciting new service will enhance students' ability to collaborate and communicate with classmates, improve personal and time management skills, schedule advising appointments, and keep track of homework assignments.

We are seeking assistance from faculty who are interested in incorporating new technologies in the classroom that will enhance the instructional process.

A few ways Connect 2 can enhance the learning experience:
  • Assign homework with Task Requests
  • Schedule group meeting times and locations
  • Distribute class information through email using distribution lists and Active Directory groups
  • Monitor progress of projects through shared journals
If you are interested, contact SCS's Faculty Service Consultant
