1 GB USB Drive
|
These Kingston Mini USB Drives are a college student essential!
Providing fast data transfer and sturdy reliability, USB drives are what floppy disks used to be: room to store all your projects and take them to any computer.
Since all of SCS's computer labs have computers with USB interfaces, a USB drive is usable anywhere on campus.

3.5 Inch Diskette
|
Some of our labs still carry legacy 3.5" Floppy Disks for sale, although they are being phased out.
Useful for small projects, however USB Drives are suggested.

Some of our labs may continue to carry Hi-8 casettes for Video Camcorders. However, our newer Camcorders utilize MiniDV tapes.

PCI Ethernet Card
|
These 3COM PCI Ethernet Adapters are for older computers that do not have ethernet internet support built in. Around 95% of newer machines have high-speed connection support built in.
If you are unsure if you computer has the needed port, please contact an STC at the nearest SCS lab for help.

PCMCIA Ethernet Card
|
PCMCIA Ethernet Cards are for Laptop or Notebook computers that have a compatable PCMCIA card slot and need a wired ethernet connection.
If you are unsure if you laptop or notebook has either an ethernet port or a PCMCIA slot, feel free to bring it to the nearest SCS lab for help.

|

ZIP Disks
|
ZIP Disks are an intermediary between modern USB drives and 3.5" floppy disks. Offering a storage capacity of 100 MB, ZIP disks can only be used in a computer that has a ZIP Drive. Please contact an STC in an SCS lab for help finding a compatable computer.
