About Student Computing Services

Introduction

Student Computing Services is a student run organization that provides student technology labs as well as network support to the WSU campus. SCS offers five technology labs to students. One is located on central campus and four more are located in student residence halls. SCS provides a HelpDesk service for students to call and receive help with their Ethernet, Network ID passwords or other computer related problems. SCS also holds dozens of training classes for students to learn the latest in software technology.

In our labs students will find a variety of programs and applications for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems, color printing, high speed internet, scanners, CD burning stations, digital cameras, digital camcorders, digital video editing equipment, DVD authoring equipment, wireless Ethernet, meeting rooms, and a knowledgeable and helpful Student Technology Consultant on hand to help with any questions you have.
